  1. We will not be adding any new information this week. Instead, we would like to take a moment to explain what happened. As some of you already know, if you had a discount code and entered it on your order form on the next page it was not calculating correctly. This was due to an error in our system. The problem has been corrected and everything is up and running again. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused to you in placing an order. Those of you that have a code with an expiration date, we have extended the expiration date for an additional 30 days. Thank you for your patience. Stay tuned next week as we will get back to adding information for you.
  2. Take a break from reading! Did I just actually say that? Yes, I guess I did. The fouth of July holiday is coming up. This is a great time to let your child take a short break, emphasis on short. Does that mean to just let your child sit around and do nothing for a few day? Certainly not! This gives you the opportunity to switch things up a little bit. Your child will enjoy the change of pace. After all, they deserve to have a little break. What should I have my child do if they are not reading you ask? An age appropiate workbook is super for a quick change of pace. You can find these practically anywhere. Even most drug stores and grocery stores carry them now. So give you child a well deserved break.

Don't forget to check out our latest selection of comic books.

  3. Summer is a great time to enjoy the outdoors. Especially if you live in an area that actually has seasons. Those who live in places that have winter, welcome the outdoors as much as we welcome a juicy steak. During the summer months your child should still read, but it needs to be fun for them. They need to be able to enjoy the books they are reading. While some kids are harder to get motivated to read than others, for the most part once they sit down and start reading, they will enjoy it very much. Just a quick update on the comic book category of the website. It is nearing completion and will be launched to the public on Thursday, June 17, 2010. Come and checkout our great selections.
  4. Well, summer is now upon us and school has let out for the year. How much will your child read each week? Will your child read this summer or is it a time to rest the brain? We certainly don't want to rest, as this will cause your child lose what they learned during the school year. Your child needs to stay sharp by reading. You do not want your child to spend the beginning of the next school year catching up with the others who read in the summer. You don't need to go crazy on reading, but your child should a minimum of 20 minutes per day. That is only 2 hours per week. It is fine to take a day or 2 off during the week. Just be sure that taking days off does not become a habit. In conclusion, we would just like to give a quick update that we reported last week. The comic books category is still under construction, but should be completed by the end of the month. Stay tuned for more updates as they become pertanent.
  5. We will have no new information to report this week. The reason for this is that we are working very diligently to add a new page to the site. This new page will include information and products for comic books. Stay tuned next week for further updates on when we will launch the comic books and new information pertaining to childrens books. Have a great week everyone.
